Patent Attorney or Agent

Our client is seeking a Patent Attorney/Agent with 5+ years of experience specializing in patent preparation and prosecution, offering flexible remote work options.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Prepare patent applications for leading technology companies, ensuring technical accuracy and high-quality drafting.

• Prosecute patent applications, managing filings and related prosecution matters.

• Develop creative, strategic solutions to address complex patent prosecution challenges.

• Independently manage personal dockets, workflows, deadlines, and application progress with minimal training or review.

• Maintain effective client communication, responsiveness, and collaboration while adapting to evolving technologies and client requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or an equivalent technical discipline.

• At least 5 years of recent patent preparation and prosecution experience.

• Experience in one or more of the following technical areas is preferred: semiconductors, AI/ML, electrical systems/circuitry, robotics, displays, sensors, optics, wireless communications, automotive technology, specialized software, biometrics, or medical systems.

• Excellent legal and technical writing skills, strong communication abilities, and a creative, solutions-driven approach.

• Strong organizational and personal docket-management skills; highly responsive, adaptable, positive, and team-oriented, with the ability to work independently and require limited training or review.
