Warehouse Associate - Weekly Pay

Gojob is hiring Warehouse Associates in Millington, TN.

Must have 2 years of warehouse experience in picking, packing, shipping, loading and unloading, kitting, and production assembly.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-minded, and keeps productivity and quality high in a fast-paced warehouse. On-the-job training is provided.

Shifts

• 1st Shift: 8:00am-4:30pm ($18/hr)

Responsibilities:

• Pick customer orders, build boxes, pack products, add void fill, and seal cartons on the taper line.
• Sort shipments, manually load and unload trucks and trailers, and prepare LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) shipments.
• Assemble products, build displays and carts, and complete kitting and labeling.
• Induct orders, replenish inventory, and move materials around the warehouse.
• Identify and report weight-out-of-tolerance packages and other shipping or packing discrepancies.
• Keep the work area clean: remove trash, plastic wrap and pallet straps, and operate the baler as trained.
• Support line loading, carton building, and other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to follow instructions and meet productivity and safety standards.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Stand and walk for extended periods, and frequently bend, reach, and move materials.
• Background in manufacturing, transportation, or logistics is a plus.

Work Environment
This position is in a fast-paced warehouse that may be noisy, with frequent material movement and physical activity. Associates must follow all safety procedures and stay aware of surrounding employees, equipment, and inventory.
