  • Prepare and maintain accurate field documentation, including daily site reports, construction progress updates, issue tracking, field notes, and supporting project documentation.
  • Monitor construction progress against project schedules and communicate potential delays, risks, or resource constraints to project leadership.
  • Assist with the tracking and coordination of materials, equipment, and other field resources, including working with materials management to organize and account for received materials.
  • Perform field inspections and support QA/QC activities to ensure completed work meets engineering requirements and project specifications.
  • Verify completion of required QA/QC checklists, inspection reports, and supporting construction documentation.
  • Collect and maintain as-built redlines, construction progress photos, and field records to support accurate project closeout documentation.
  • Troubleshoot technical and construction-related challenges in the field and help develop practical engineering solutions that keep projects moving forward.
  • Communicate regularly with project managers, engineers, construction teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders regarding project status, field conditions, and technical issues.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, schedule, and successful project delivery throughout all phases of construction.

  • Strong understanding of electric distribution systems, construction practices, engineering drawings, and utility design standards.
  • Experience working directly in the field and supporting active construction projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, construction plans, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Experience identifying and troubleshooting field conditions, constructability issues, and design conflicts.
  • Familiarity with QA/QC inspections, as-built redlines, field reporting, and construction documentation.
