About this job
Job Description
Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro Area | Full-Time | Hybrid Flexibility Available
A well-established and highly respected plaintiff-side litigation practice is seeking an attorney to join its growing personal injury team. This opportunity offers the chance to take ownership of cases from intake through resolution while working alongside experienced attorneys, dedicated support staff, and a robust appellate team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys direct client interaction, meaningful advocacy, and the ability to manage cases from start to finish in a collaborative environment.
About the Practice
The firm exclusively represents injured individuals in a broad range of personal injury matters, including a significant volume of motor vehicle accident cases. Attorneys are entrusted with handling all aspects of their files, developing strong relationships with clients, and serving as lead counsel throughout the life of the case.
Unlike firms that divide responsibilities among multiple departments, attorneys are empowered to manage their cases from initial consultation through settlement, arbitration, trial, and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Manage plaintiff personal injury matters from intake through resolution
- Develop case strategy and guide clients through the litigation process
- Conduct discovery, draft pleadings, and engage in motion practice
- Handle negotiations and settlement discussions
- Participate in Minnesota No-Fault arbitrations
- Prepare matters for trial and advocate on behalf of clients in court
- Work closely with paralegals and legal support professionals to effectively manage case workloads
Support & Resources
Attorneys benefit from a strong team-oriented structure, including:
- Dedicated legal support staff, including paralegals and administrative professionals
- In-house appellate attorneys available to assist with legal research, brief writing, motion practice, and appellate matters
- Firm-sponsored professional development and continuing legal education
- Licensed to practice law in Minnesota or eligible for admission
- Prior litigation experience preferred
- Personal injury experience is a plus, but strong litigation backgrounds will be considered
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
- Strong client-service orientation
- Ability to independently manage a busy caseload and prioritize competing deadlines
Benefits
The firm offers a highly competitive benefits package, including:
- Employer-paid health insurance for attorneys and their families
- Employer-paid dental insurance for attorneys and their families
- Life insurance and optional supplemental coverage
- 401(k) plan with employer contributions and profit-sharing opportunities
- Firm-paid CLEs, professional memberships, and bar dues
- Paid parking
- Firm-issued technology and resources
- Collaborative, team-oriented culture with substantial administrative and appellate support
