General Labor | Weekly Pay

• You will travel around Lea County with a small crew to clean illegal dump sites, pick up trash, collect recyclables, cardboard, and other materials, and assist with deceased animal pickup as assigned. Daily work may include walking up to one mile while bagging trash, spray washing scales, and helping at the main recycling center. This role takes place outdoors and may require working in different weather conditions. A strong fit is someone who can lift materials, stay productive, follow safety directions, and complete assigned tasks quickly and carefully.

  • Compensation: $13 per hour

  • Job Site Location: Hobbs, New Mexico

  • Shift: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

    Crew A,C,& D. Monday - Friday

    Crew B Wednesday-Sunday

  • Employment Type: Temp Job

  • Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

  Required Qualifications

  • Able to lift and move materials safely

  • Able to complete assigned tasks quickly, safely, and accurately

  • Comfortable working outdoors in different types of weather

  • Able to walk 1/2 mile to one mile while bagging trash

  • Willing to work in a crew of three around Lea County

  • Willing to pick up trash, recyclables, cardboard, deceased animals, and other materials as assigned

  • Willing to spray wash scales and help at the main recycling center

  • Reliable, safety-minded, and able to follow instructions

  Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in general labor, outdoor cleanup, sanitation, recycling, or similar hands-on work

  • Experience lifting materials and completing physical tasks safely

  • Comfort working at multiple locations throughout the day as part of a small crew

  • Experience collecting trash, recyclables, cardboard, and other materials from businesses or public areas

  • Positive attitude and willingness to help with other duties as assigned
