Medical Assistant (Pediatrics) - New Graduates Accepted

Locations: Clarksburg, MD & Montgomery Village, MD
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM; Saturday, 8:30 AM-12:00 PM as scheduled. Weekend coverage is needed at the Clarksburg location.

We are seeking a compassionate, Spanish-speaking Medical Assistant to support pediatric providers in an outpatient practice serving patients from birth through age 20. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, organized, and comfortable assisting with pediatric examinations and clinical procedures.

• Room patients and record vital signs, including height, weight, blood pressure, and temperature.

• Document patient intake and clinical information accurately in the EHR.

• Assist pediatricians with examinations, developmental screenings, vision/hearing tests, and minor procedures.

• Support routine pediatric immunizations and laboratory testing within certification and scope-of-practice guidelines.

• Maintain quality-control procedures and keep examination rooms clean, sanitized, and stocked.

• Communicate warmly and professionally with children, parents, and caregivers.

• Active Medical Assistant certification required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Spanish proficiency required.

• At least one year of experience in pediatrics required; motivated new graduates are welcome.

• Proficiency with EHR systems.

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and patient-care skills.
