Locums Oncology Physician

We are seeking a Board-Certified Oncology Physician for alocum tenens opportunity in Lansing, MI. This position offers a primarilyoutpatient clinical practice with a focus on managing a variety of cancers andselect benign hematologic conditions. The physician will provide care to adultpatients in a clinic located across the street from a Level I trauma hospital.

· Schedule: 3 clinic days per week

· Hours: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

· WeekendRequirements: None

· On-CallRequirements: None

· Setting: Outpatient clinic

· PatientPopulation: Adults only; no pediatric patients

· PatientVolume: Approximately 17–20 patients per day

· Inpatient/OutpatientMix: 100% outpatient

· EMR: Epic

· Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients withvarious types of cancer.

· Provide ongoing treatment planning,monitoring, and follow-up care.

· Manage select benign hematologic conditions.

· Order and review diagnostic tests, laboratorystudies, and imaging.

· Prescribe appropriate medications and developindividualized treatment plans.

· Coordinate care with specialists and otherhealthcare professionals.

· Maintain accurate and timely documentation inEpic.

· MD or DO

· Board Certification in the appropriateoncology specialty required.

· Active Michigan medical license required.

· Current BLS certification required.
