Position Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will have LTC experience, strong clinical skills, and the ability to support resident safety, comfort, and continuity of care during night shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.

• Experience in a long-term care (LTC) or nursing home setting.

• Ability to work night shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

• Availability to work 40 hours per week, including every other weekend and holidays.

• Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) electronic charting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility.

• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and facility protocols.

• Monitor residents' health conditions and report changes to appropriate healthcare professionals.

• Document nursing assessments, medications, treatments, and resident care in PointClickCare (PCC).

• Collaborate with registered nurses, physicians, nursing assistants, and other healthcare team members.

• Maintain resident safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality.

• Follow infection control procedures and applicable nursing regulations.

• Participate in shift handoffs and ensure continuity of care.
