About the Company
Bila Solar is a pioneering solar energy company dedicated to transforming and powering the world through innovation in renewable energy. The company offers a diverse portfolio of high-performance solar modules, including its ultralight solar modules—designed for low load-bearing roofs and curved surfaces where traditional panels cannot be installed—as well as its newly launched 550W dual glass conventional solar panels, proudly manufactured in Indiana.
With a commitment to domestic manufacturing, supply chain security and cutting-edge solar solutions, Bila Solar is leading the charge in expanding U.S.-made solar technology.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Planning & Order Fulfillment
Assess customer orders and forecasts against production capacity, equipment availability, and material readiness; support annual, monthly, weekly, and daily production planning.
Develop, maintain, and adjust executable production schedules based on order priorities, delivery requirements, and operational constraints.
Monitor order progress from initial assessment through production and shipment; highlight delivery risks, communicate changes, and coordinate recovery actions.
2. Material Requirements Planning & Supply Assurance
Run material requirements planning (MRP) using production schedules, approved bills of materials (BOMs), inventory balances, lead times, and open supply.
Prepare and maintain purchase requisitions (PRs), coordinate demand validation, and track purchase order (PO) conversion, supplier delivery status, and shortages with Procurement.
Balance material availability with inventory objectives; escalate shortages, delayed deliveries, and other supply risks before they disrupt production.
3. Inventory, Material Usage & Exception Control
Monitor raw material inventory, consumption, and inventory accuracy; investigate abnormal usage and coordinate corrective action.
Identify excess, slow-moving, obsolete, and non-conforming materials; collaborate with responsible functions on disposition, consumption, and inventory reduction plans.
Coordinate material issuing, returns, and inventory-related discrepancies with Warehouse and Production to support accurate material flow.
4. Manufacturing Orders & WIP Management
Coordinate manufacturing-order (MO) release, adjustment, and closure in accordance with production requirements and cost-accounting procedures.
Monitor timely and accurate production reporting in MES/ERP; investigate discrepancies affecting work orders, material consumption, or output.
Track daily WIP quantity, aging, and flow; work with operational teams to reduce bottlenecks and avoid unnecessary accumulation.
5. Cross-functional Coordination, Reporting & Safety
Coordinate daily planning and material exceptions with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, Engineering, Quality, and other stakeholders.
Maintain accurate planning and material control records; prepare KPI reports, shortage alerts, inventory analyses, and execution updates.
Identify process improvements to increase schedule adherence, inventory turnover, data accuracy, and operational efficiency; comply with company safety policies and training requirements.
Qualifications

- Strong analytical, reporting, problem-solving, organizational, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize competing demands, proactively identify exceptions, and coordinate practical solutions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
