Residential Bath & Shower Remodeling Plumber (Journeyman/Master)

As a Licensed Residential Plumber, you’ll focus on wet-area remodels—tub and shower conversions and replacements—delivering safe, code-compliant projects that make homeowners love their spaces again.

A day in this role

Start your morning by reviewing contracts, measurements, and photos to confirm the scope and specs. You’ll determine whether a permit is needed, coordinate with local inspectors, and ensure each install meets code. On site, you’ll modify pipe lengths, set fixtures, and run tests to diagnose and eliminate leaks or other issues—keeping safety and craftsmanship front and center. You’ll wrap the day by documenting work, communicating next steps, and preparing for tomorrow’s project.

Field-based in the Duluth, MN area: You’ll travel to customer locations within driving distance for day trips; most nights you’ll be home.

What you’ll do

• Review company materials (contracts, measurements, photos) to determine job specifications
• Focus exclusively on tub and shower remodels
• Identify projects requiring permits and secure approvals as needed
• Build productive relationships with local inspectors; ensure work adheres to code
• Test systems for leaks and performance; troubleshoot and resolve problems
• Cut/modify pipes and install fixtures and related plumbing materials

What you bring

• Active MN Journeyman or Master Plumber license (Required); WI license a plus
• Sound judgment with the ability to interpret plans and grasp complex scopes
• Commitment to safety procedures and on-site best practices

Compensation & benefits

• Earn up to $80k-$120k+ per year (based on experience and licensing)
