Quality Control Lead

Direct Hire opportunity in NW Houston

Salary: $68k-86k depending on experience

We are seeking a Quality Lead skilled in Manufacturing and Operations to plan and control QA/QC of 3rd Party Manufactured parts.

Duties:

Perform visual and 100% dimensional inspection of machined products and raw material to ensure they comply with drawing and specifications.
Management, inspection and maintenance of all calibration equipment and maintaining records.
Documenting and managing to closure all quality (in process and supplier) non-conformance reports.
Weekly reporting of NCR status to Technical and QHSSE Managers.
Responsible for the identification, status and traceability of all parts at goods in / in process and finished product.
Producing detailed reports for inspected equipment requiring refurbishment, including rework recommendations.
Creating Certificates of Conformity with all appropriate back-up documentation.
Review and create document packs for tool bodies.
Use of manual and electronic inspection equipment.
Documentation / certification review for incoming goods to required technical specifications.
Create data packs with all the necessary information / certification regarding the tools manufacturing and scan into the relevant databases.

Required: Certified Quality Inspector Desirable: Certified Quality Technician (CQT)Inspector
Desirable: Certified Quality Technician (CQT), ASME GDTP (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing Professional)
