Location                            : Rangely, CO 81648

Project Duration           : 13 weeks

Pay range                         : $50 – $51 per hour

Shift                                    : 7 pm to 7 am/Night shift / 36 hrs

Job Summary 

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Room (ER) / Swing Bed team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical experience, excellent assessment skills, and the ability to provide safe, compassionate care to patients in both emergency and swing-bed settings.

Responsibilities

·         Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room and Swing Bed settings.

·         Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in patient condition.

·         Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.

·         Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

·         Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient status.

·         Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.

·         Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Athena EMR system.

·         Follow hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety protocols.

·         Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and effective communication in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

·         Active and unrestricted RN license as required by the facility/state.

·         Minimum 3 years of RN experience.

·         Previous ER/Emergency Department experience strongly preferred.

·         Experience with Swing Bed or acute-care patients is preferred.

·         Proficiency with electronic medical records; Athena experience preferred.

·         Strong assessment, critical-thinking, communication, and organizational skills.

·         Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
