You will help prepare quarterly reporting materials, support monthly close activities, and coordinate audit documentation. You will also contribute to technical accounting work, with opportunities to take ownership of assignments aligned with your experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare quarterly SEC footnote disclosures and supporting schedules.

  • Roll forward reporting documents and maintain supporting materials in Workiva.

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly schedules related to capital expenditures and intangible assets.

  • Analyze account fluctuations and support the consolidations team during monthly close.

  • Assist with accounting research and the preparation or updating of accounting memoranda, including going concern assessments.

  • Compile and organize documentation requested by external auditors.

  • Support periodic pension audits through schedule preparation and auditor coordination.

  • Contribute to technical accounting assignments involving topics such as goodwill, leases, stock-based compensation, or capitalized software, depending on experience.

  • Collaborate with accounting colleagues to maintain accurate, complete, and timely reporting.

Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in public accounting, SEC reporting, or corporate accounting; approximately 2 4 years is a useful guideline.

  • Experience preparing or auditing public company financial statements, disclosures, or related supporting schedules.

  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.

  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing deadlines.

  • Ability to investigate discrepancies, apply sound judgment, and communicate findings clearly.

  • Collaborative approach and willingness to learn new accounting topics.

Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA designation or active progress toward obtaining the CPA.

  • Experience with Workiva.

  • Big Four or other public accounting firm experience.

  • Hands-on knowledge of a technical accounting area such as goodwill, leases, stock-based compensation, or capitalized software.

Opportunity

This role offers exposure to SEC reporting, technical accounting, and audit activities, with room to expand responsibilities as your knowledge develops. The position begins as a contract assignment with the intention of conversion to permanent employment, subject to performance, business needs, and approval.
