Patient Account Representative

This position involves cash posting and requires hospital billing experience of 2 - 3 years. The role focuses on claims follow-up, underpayment, and denials, specifically dealing with commercial payors such as Healthcare, United Healthcare, Horizon, and IBX.

Responsibilities

• Verify eligibility with insurance companies.
• Communicate with patients and insurance companies regarding co-pays, deductibles, denials, and Cost of Benefit (COB) issues.
• Resolve accounts in a timely and effective manner.
• Provide excellent customer service.
