Material Handler

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a  Material Handler with a multinational science and technology company in San Jose, CA. This is a 4-month contract with a potential for extension.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

Description:
The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, shipping, kitting and cycle counts. Safely operate forklift, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.

This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager and is part of the Manufacturing team located in San Jose and will be an on-site role (day shift).

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Receive and store incoming goods according to established procedures
• Re-stock shelves and organize goods
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and work areas.
• Ship/fulfill customer orders to ensure on-time delivery.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous warehouse experience 1-2 years
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 60lb

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Forklift experience
• Oracle
