This is a travel/contract Clinical Lab Scientist opportunity at a healthcare facility in Eureka, CA. The role supports the laboratory department, with travelers covering the Observation Unit, which serves ER Hold patients. First-time travelers are welcome, and the position is available for an immediate (ASAP) start.

• Cover the Observation Unit, which includes ER Hold patients
• Adapt schedule to meet departmental needs, including varying weekend requirements

• California CLS (Clinical Lab Scientist) License REQUIRED AND MUST BE IN HAND AT TIME OF SUBMISSION (HARDSTOP: Do not submit candidates who do not hold a current CA CLS License; pending licenses are not accepted)

• Minimum 2 years of experience required

• Scrubs acceptable; no jeans or logo tees; business casual dress code applies
• Float required: travelers will cover the Observation Unit (ER Hold patients)
• Weekend requirement: varies to meet departmental needs
• RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 days

• California CLS License must be in hand this is a HARDSTOP requirement. Do not submit candidates who do not currently hold a valid CA CLS License. Pending licenses are NOT accepted.
• COVID-19 vaccination: Not required
