Auditor (On-site)

HEPCO is seeking a detail-oriented Auditor for our client to support Medicaid provider enrollment, revalidation, and records maintenance. This position involves reviewing applications, verifying provider information, and maintaining accurate records in accordance with federal and state requirements.

• Review provider enrollment applications and supporting documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established requirements.
• Verify provider information using federal and state databases, including Medicare’s enrollment system, the NPI Registry, and professional licensing websites.
• Contact providers through the Provider Services Portal, email, or telephone to obtain missing information and clarify application details.
• Enter and update provider information in eMedNY and the Provider Services Portal.
• File, maintain, and upload documents according to established procedures.
• Meet established production and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet navigation.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage priorities, work independently with minimal supervision, and collaborate with a team.
• Experience reviewing and verifying detailed or sensitive information using online sources preferred.
• Data entry experience preferred.
