Backend .NET Developer with Automation
Remote
1 year Contract
Start Date: January 4th, 2026

Looking for a backend .NET developer with automation experience. Healthcare and Dynamix CRM experience will win.
Someone saying they have "automation experience" is not enough. Ideally, they should be able to explain what they personally automated, which framework/tool they used, whether they helped build or configure the framework, what test cases they created, and how automation fit into their development workflow.

• Primary profile: Backend .NET Developer with automation experience
• UI/front-end experience: Nice to have, but not a primary focus

Project
The developer will support the Care Pro application, a utilization management platform used by healthcare providers to create prior authorization requests.
The application includes backend functionality for approving requests and managing related workflows.
The team is already migrating away from ASP.NET and WCF.

Must-Have Skills
.NET / Backend Development

• Strong Microsoft/.NET background
• .NET Core
• C#
• T-SQL
• Experience building scalable, high-performing RESTful APIs using ASP.NET
• Strong relational database development experience, preferably SQL Server
• Microservices architecture
• Automation experience Must have at least some experience here. Playwright is preferred but any automation tool is okay to have here. Automation will be part of this role.
• Design patterns and SOLID principles
• Git-based source control, such as GitHub or Azure Git

Testing
Experience with at least one:

• xUnit
• NUnit
• MSTest

ORM
Experience with at least one:

• Dapper
• Entity Framework
• NHibernate

GitHub Copilot

• Experience using GitHub Copilot as a development accelerator

Nice-to-Have Skills

• UI/front-end development experience
• Azure cloud experience
• Dynamics CRM experience
• NoSQL experience
• PostgreSQL
• Elasticsearch
• Healthcare industry experience

Ideal Candidate Profile
A strong candidate will primarily be a backend .NET engineer with deep experience in .NET Core, C#, REST APIs, SQL, microservices, and modern development practices. Automation is an important component of the role, so candidates who have built automation frameworks or developed automated test cases will stand out.
Front-end/UI, Azure, Dynamics CRM, NoSQL/PostgreSQL/Elasticsearch, and healthcare experience are additional positives but should not outweigh strong backend .NET and automation capabilities.
