SQL Developer Job Summary

Client is seeking an experienced SQL Developer to support its Construction organization s enterprise databases, data integration, and digital transformation initiatives. This role focuses on developing scalable, secure SQL Server solutions, ETL/ELT pipelines, and optimized data platforms.

SQL Developer Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.

• Design and maintain enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines, data integrations, and data validation processes.

• Implement incremental loading, data reconciliation, and data quality controls.

• Perform SQL Server performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.

• Support database administration, security, monitoring, backup verification, and troubleshooting.

• Manage database scripts and schema changes using Azure DevOps and GitHub.

• Support production deployments, testing, documentation, and issue resolution.

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions.

SQL Developer Required Qualifications

• 5 8 years of MS SQL Server development experience.

• Advanced T-SQL programming and SQL performance tuning expertise.

• Strong experience with ETL/ELT, enterprise data integration, and data warehousing.

• Knowledge of dimensional modeling, incremental loads, and data quality practices.

• Experience with SQL Server indexing and index management.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.

• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

SQL Developer Preferred Qualifications

• PowerShell scripting and automation.

• SQL Server administration, security, backup/recovery, and maintenance.

• Experience supporting enterprise production environments.
