Machine Operator

We're currently looking to add a hardworking Machine Operator to our first-shift team in Newark, NY.

= Schedule: Monday Friday =V Hours:6:00 AM 2:30 PM =

Pay: $18-$20 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines to cut ceramic fiber board per drawings and work orders
• Use measurement tools (tape measure, calipers, squares) in both imperial and metric
• Monitor runs and make minor offsets/adjustments to maintain quality and tolerances
• Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety and PPE requirements
• Communicate quality, material, or equipment issues to supervision promptly

Requirements

• Proficiency reading measurements in standard (imperial) and metric units
• Experience operating CNC machines (router/mill) preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Able to read basic shop drawings and follow work instructions
• Comfortable working with insulation materials; PPE provided (can be itchy)
• Respirator required; must be able to wear one and pass fit testing
• Basic computer skills for machine interface and data entry
• Steel-toe boots required
• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
• Must be dependable and ready to work in a hands-on environment; able to stand for extended periods and lift/move materials as needed
