PeopleSoft HR/Payroll Consultant

Currently, we are hiring for the following position;

PeopleSoft HR/Payroll Consultant

Our client, The County of Santa Clara is in need of a PeopleSoft Payroll Functional Consultant to support Single ID implementation

REMOTE work is allowed. 

TYPICAL DELIVERABLES
This role will partner with HR, Payroll, and IT to streamline employee data, improve system
accuracy, and ensure a smooth transition to a unified identifier across PeopleSoft HCM.

Responsibilities
• Lead functional design and configuration for PeopleSoft Payroll and related modules
• Assess current processes and define future-state workflows for Single ID
• Support data mapping, conversion, validation, and payroll testing
• Collaborate with technical teams on interface and integration updates
• Provide documentation, end-user training, and go-live support

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Proficient in implementing PeopleSoft Single ID, including consolidating existing multiple employee
IDs and understanding downstream payroll impacts
• Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM and Payroll processes, including earn codes, earnings
programs, paysheet build, retro adjustments and multiperiod payroll processing
• Proficient in PeopleSoft Pay Group setup, PeopleSoft FLSA functionality, and its effects on payroll
processing
• Solid business and functional understanding of FLSA rules and calculations
• Strong problem solving, communication, and cross functional collaboration skills

CONTRACT TERM: 12 months (with possibility to extend further)
