App Dev Java Lead

Job Title:

Location: Plano, TX

Salary Range: $75 to $85/hr

 Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 8 or above).
• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security).
• Proficiency with RESTful Web Services and Microservices Architecture.
• Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA for ORM.
• Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 5 years.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with DevOps tools and practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Understanding of front-end technologies like Angular or React.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Java applications and microservices.
• Work with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and REST APIs for backend development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI, QA, DevOps, Product) to deliver robust solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Implement secure coding and application performance optimization techniques.
