Hire Sync is looking for a mechanically inclined Machine Setup Operator / Maintenance Technician to join a well-established manufacturing company in Macedonia, OH! We're looking for someone who brings a hands-on approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to tackle everything from machine setups to routine maintenance.

What You'll Do

• Set up, adjust, and operate in-line manufacturing equipment to meet production schedules.
• Install, inspect, and remove tooling and fixtures for production runs.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and make adjustments to keep production moving.
• Assist with preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and building components.
• Support daily machine startup and shutdown procedures.
• Locate, organize, and properly store tooling before and after production.
• Create and maintain machine processing settings and recipes for consistent production.
• Load raw materials and prepare equipment for first-piece quality approval.
• Inspect materials, tooling, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Read and follow work orders, production instructions, and technical drawings.
• Operate production machinery and provide coverage for machine operators as needed.
• Identify safety concerns and help maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Work with the production and quality teams to reduce scrap, improve efficiency, and resolve issues.
• Assist with general facility and equipment maintenance as assigned.

• Previous experience with manufacturing equipment setup, machine operation, or industrial maintenance preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Experience working with tooling, fixtures, and machine adjustments.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, instructions, and basic technical drawings.
• Understanding of machine safety and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to identify problems, take initiative, and work toward practical solutions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance, a positive attitude, and willingness to take on a variety of responsibilities.

• Starting pay of $22.00 per hour.
• Pay increases to $23.00 per hour upon permanent hire.
• Consistent first-shift, Monday–Friday schedule.
