Senior Full Stack Engineer

About this role

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with 5+ years of experience to own companys agent experience end to end, from data models and APIs to polished UI. We want a builder who cares about the people using the product: someone who has shipped products from start to finish, builds well with AI and LLM agents, and holds a high bar for software people love, not just software that works. Comapny is the first AI-native employee benefits brokerage. Our agents already do real work every day, and we need someone to make that work feel easy for advisors, small businesses and their employees. You'll join a small, low-ego, mission-driven team backed by Bain Capital Ventures and BoxGroup, and help fix one of the largest and most poorly served markets in the country.

What will you be doing?

• Building the advisor console, an agent orchestration tool where advisors see what needs their attention, act on it, and hand work back and forth with AI agents
• Shipping the small business experience, from quoting and plan selection to onboarding, so it feels like having a great benefits advisor on call
• Creating the employee experience: ID cards, enrollment, changes during the year, and straight answers about coverage
• Designing the Python/TypeScript APIs and data models that connect agents, carrier data and operations, with a person kept in the loop when agents fail
• Acting as the voice of the user and a technical leader: sitting with advisors and clients, taking fuzzy problems all the way to shipped, and measuring whether they moved the needle

• Core responsibilities include developing AI-driven solutions and collaborating with internal stakeholders.

• Prefer candidates from big tech or high-growth startups; strong technical skills in Python and TypeScript.

5 - 12 years of experience as a fullstack engineer

Work experience

Worked at Series A-D startups, in FAANG, or founder experience

Has owned and shipped a product end-to-end (full-stack, backend, or forward deployed - avoid pure front-end)

Education

CS or related degree from a top-25 university.

Humble and service-oriented; collaborative with internal stakeholders
