Java Spring boot Developer

Pay Range: $65 - $70/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Create and deploy microservices using the Spring Boot framework
• Carry out unit and integration tests, identifying and resolving bugs
• Produce well-written documentation for each microservice
• Interconnect microservices with databases and ensure adherence to the Software Development Life Cycle
• Collaborate with product owners, UI, and UX teams for requirement clarification
• Participate in scrum ceremonies and peer review MRs from offshore teams
• Continuously educate yourself on new approaches and technologies

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in design, development, and triaging for large, complex systems, with strong skills in Java and object-oriented design
• 5+ years of experience in microservices development
• 5+ years of experience working with Spring Boot
• 3+ years of experience with streaming technologies like Kafka and RabbitMQ
• Proficiency in API development tools such as IntelliJ/Eclipse, Postman, and Git
• Hands-on experience in building microservices-based applications using Spring Boot and REST
• Understanding of DevOps practices, including containers, cloud, automation, and CI/CD
• Familiarity with software development design patterns: GIT, Swagger, PCF
• Knowledge of markup languages such as JSON and YML
• Experience with quality and security scan technologies such as Sonar, Fortify, and WebInspect
• Knowledge of the Agile approach
• Experience working with Cassandra
