Surgical Scheduler

Pay From: $19 per hour

MUST:
2 years of experience in a surgical setting
Scheduling surgical procedures
Calling waitlist of candidates upon cancellations
Documenting and updating patient information in EMR
Managing and maintaining schedules
Filling in gaps
Reviewing gaps in calendar to make sure they get filled
Ensuring procedures are blocked with correct amount of time
Answering phones and providing customer service support
Registering patients
HS diploma or GED

DUTIES:
The duties of the Surgical Scheduler include but are not limited to the following:
Answer phone calls
Schedule surgical procedures
Ca
Maintain and manage surgical schedule
Enter and update patient information in EMR
Collect ID s and insurance information
Respond to patient inquiries
Register patients
Answer phones
Register patients if needed
