Snowflake Engineer

Role - Snowflake Engineer
Location: Jersey City / Dallas/ Tampa- ONSITE
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Rate: $53/hr

Core Responsibilities
" Architecture & Design: Build scalable data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines using Snowflake, Python, and dbt.
" Team Leadership: Direct onsite and offshore engineering teams, review code, and mentor junior developers.
" Performance & Cost Tuning: Eligible to workimize SQL queries, manage virtual warehouse sizing, and monitor cloud usage costs.
" Data Governance: Implement role-based access control, masking policies, and security best practices.
" Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate business needs into technical data solutions with clients and product owners.

Key Qualifications
" Experience: 10years in data engineering or database development, with 10 years focused specifically on Snowflake.
" Technical Stack: Advanced SQL, Python, dbt (Core/Cloud), and Git/CI-CD workflows.
" Cloud Knowledge: Hands-on experience with AWS (S3, Lambda), Azure (ADF), or Eligible to workP.
" Data Modeling: Proficiency in dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas) and Data Vault.
" Soft Skills: Strong communication, requirement-gathering, and leadership skills
