Patient Care Technician

• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $20.00 $25.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM 7:30 PM (3 12 Hours); shift start time is 7:00 AM with flexibility to start four hours prior to or four hours after posted start time based on limited critical department need
• Travel Requirements: Accepts first timers
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

This is a Patient Care Technician contract position based in Worcester, MA. This is a surge/overflow position, so floating may be required to care for patients within the ED area. The role requires 36 hours per week and candidates must be able to start on the posted date only.

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a PCT
• Must have Med Surg / Tele experience to be considered

• Proficiency in Epic charting system
• Ability to float to care for patients within the ED area as needed (surge/overflow position)

• Must have experience working as a PCT; facility will also accept a CNA with a MA license in-hand
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• MA state credential/license required (CNA with MA license accepted in lieu of PCT experience)

• Weekend requirement: Every Other Weekend / Every Other Holiday (EOW/EOH)
• Floating may be required within the facility for surge/overflow coverage, including to the ED area
• Flu vaccination: Required medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed
• COVID-19: Not required
• Facility allows 1 of the 3 major upcoming holidays in RTO

• Candidates must be able to start on the posted date only no flexibility on start date
