Material Handler – 1st Shift
Location: On-Site Distribution Center

ABOUT THE JOB:
We’re hiring a Material Handler I – 1st Shift to safely operate forklift equipment and help ensure quality products are received, stored, and shipped accurately and on time.
 
This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced distribution environment with a strong focus on safety, inventory accuracy, product quality, and teamwork.
 
WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Safely operate a forklift to move, load, store, and retrieve materials
• Use handheld scanners to track inventory and product locations
• Receive and inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies
• Complete inventory and cycle counts
• Perform routine forklift inspections and report equipment issues
• Keep warehouse aisles and work areas clean, safe, and organized
• Follow all safety, GMP, food-quality, and regulatory procedures
• Report damaged products, equipment issues, and unsafe conditions

 
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 2+ years of forklift experience preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment
• Basic computer skills, including use of a scan gun
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to conduct inventory and cycle counts
