Senior Java Technical Lead / Payments Backend Developer

Job Summary :
Looking for a Senior Java Technical Lead / Payments Backend Developer to build and support scalable, secure payment microservices. You will lead backend development using Java and Spring Boot, integrate payment gateways and APIs, monitor system health with Grafana, New Relic, and Kibana, and automate operational tasks with Python. Experience in the payments or fintech domain is highly preferred.

Interview Requirement: Face-to-face interview is mandatory.

Required Skills:

• 8 years of experience in Java backend development.
• Strong expertise in Java 11/17/21, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
• Experience with Kafka, IBM MQ, and event-driven architecture.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native applications and payment processing platforms.
• Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience supporting production deployments, troubleshooting, and cloud migration initiatives.

Mandatory Payments Domain Experience:
Candidates must have hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Wire Payments and Treasury Payments
• RTP (Real-Time Payments) and Fedwire
• SWIFT and ISO 20022
• Cross-Border Payments
• Payment Hubs or High-Value Transaction Processing
