Client: Transamerica
Location: 100 percent remote
Position: z/os or Zos developer
Rate: $49/hr on apex w-2
Interview process: 2 video to hire
Contract: 6 months extendable
Must have: z architecture mainframe experience, mainframe experience, z/os (or zos) and great communication skills

Qualifications
" Moderate knowledge of z architecture mainframe systems is required for a candidate to
be considered for this role.
" Behavioral skills and technical skills present.
" Moderate understanding of system concepts of IT Infrastructure environments.
" Moderate working ability to a programming language, i.e. Assembler, COBOL, REXX, SAS.
" Moderate knowledge of JCL, TSO/ISPF and SDSF concepts and functionality.
" Moderate knowledge of BMC Control-D output management infrastructure and components.
" Understands and practices documented testing and implementation procedures.
" Knowledge of Disaster Recovery concepts.
" Strong skills in both verbal and written communication.
" Strong analytical thinking.
" Attention to Detail: Applying relevant quality standards to most tasks undertaken.
" Capable of working in a highly-collaborative working environment with colleagues and
customers from different cultural backgrounds.
