Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator for our client in Decatur, AL The Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and performing simple programming to one or more machines used in the production of hollow metal doors in workstations that include but are not limited to machines that: bend, notch, punch, form or straighten frame parts. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Utilizes the Work Center Dispatch Report in due date order to produce production within
• schedule. Exceptions will be communicated by production control or operations manager.
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers and use simple math to perform
• basic calculations.
• Must be able to operate, install tooling and set-up mechanical and hydraulic press brakes.
• Must be able to perform visual inspection and dimensional inspection using calipers and basic measuring tools.
• Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.
• Update computer records and paperwork in accordance with production requirements.
• Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on press brake as required.
• Maintain work area in clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.
• Must have a working command of the English language, and be able to communicate orally and in writing.

Requirements:

• Ability to perform essential duties
• High school education or GED
• Minimum 2 years of press brake experience
• Must have Steeled-toed boots
• Must Pass a measurement test
• Must pass a Background & Drug Screen

• Shift: 1st Shift 5 am 3:30 pm Monday Friday and 5 am to 1:30 on Saturday Fridays OT
• Pay: $24.00-$28.00
