Title: Appian Lead Product Engineer(Need Architect Level Profiles)

Duration : 6 Months of Contract with Possible extension/Full Time

Location: Tampa, FL

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Serve as the technical owner of the Appian platform - including environment strategy, configuration, performance, and stability.
• Plan and execute Appian upgrades, patches, capacity scaling, and environment refreshes.
• Define and enforce architecture standards, best practices, design patterns, and governance for Appian implementations.
• Collaborate with business, delivery teams, infrastructure, information security, and external vendors to ensure reliable and compliant platform operations.
• Review solution designs and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and performance requirements.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for high priority incidents.
• Support DevOps/CI-CD pipelines for Appian deployments and promote modern automation practices.
• Maintain platform documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• 8 years of hands-on Appian experience, including architecture and environment management.
• Strong understanding of Appian components: Records, Data Fabric/CDTs, SAIL, process models, integrations, plug-ins, RPA.
• Proven experience with upgrades, performance tuning, and environment configuration (Appian Cloud and self managed).
• Solid knowledge of integration patterns (REST/SOAP, queues, JDBC).
• Experience working with security teams on SSO, SAML/OIDC, RBAC, and platform hardening.
• Experience with identity and access management and platform security.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
