Forward Deployed Engineer (Java Full Stack Developer)

Overview
We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) with 3-7 years of software engineering experience to build and deploy modern, AI-enabled business applications. This role is ideal for a hands-on full-stack developer who combines strong software engineering fundamentals with an interest in emerging AI technologies and customer-focused solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities
" Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end business applications.
" Build scalable APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions.
" Develop front-end applications using React or similar frameworks.
" Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver solutions.
" Leverage AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices to accelerate delivery.
" Participate in Agile development and contribute to CI/CD and DevOps initiatives.

Required Qualifications
" 3-7 years of software engineering experience.
" Strong background in Java and full-stack application development.
" Experience with one or more of the following: TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, C#, or Python.
" Hands-on experience building APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
" Front-end development experience using React or similar frameworks.
" Knowledge of Azure, Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, or other modern AI platforms.
" Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Codex.
" Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications
" Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Agent SDKs, or multi-agent frameworks.
" Exposure to AI agents, workflow automation, or LLM-powered applications.
" Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices.
" Experience in Healthcare, PBM, Insurance, or other regulated industries is a plus.

Ideal Candidate
A traditional full-stack software engineer who has expanded into AI-enabled application development, rather than a data scientist transitioning into software engineering. Candidates should be curious, adaptable, and comfortable working in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
