Role: Senior Application Developer
Location: Dallas, TX - Hybrid - 3 days onsite

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NETMVC, and .NET Core.
Design and implement secure, scalable, and maintainable RESTful APIs for application and system integrations.
Develop responsive web applications and user interfaces using Angular and related front-end technologies.
Analyze existing/legacy applications and contribute to application modernization, including migration from Web Forms and legacy ASP.NET applications to modern .NET/.NET Core architectures.
Develop and maintain application business rules and decision logic using InRule.
Work with Sybase, SQL databases, and MongoDB, including data access, queries, stored procedures, data modeling, and performance optimization.
Work with Apache Spark for data processing and application/data integration use cases, as applicable.
Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using CloudBees and Jenkins to support reliable application build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
Use GitHub for enterprise source-code management, including branching strategies, pull requests (PRs), code reviews, merging, and team collaboration.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, architecture principles, security requirements, and development best practices.
Troubleshoot complex application, integration, database, and production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
Create and maintain technical documentation covering application architecture, APIs, interfaces, deployment procedures, and operational support.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release planning.
Use Jira to manage user stories, technical tasks, defects, sprint commitments, and delivery status.
Mentor junior and mid-level developers and support the adoption of engineering best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
8 years of application design and development experience, with significant hands-on experience in C#/.NET technologies.
Experience developing and supporting large-scale, business-critical enterprise applications.
Experience modernizing legacy ASP.NET Web Forms/MVC applications to .NET Core and modern front-end architectures.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, application architecture, design patterns, API design, and secure coding practices.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
