We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Chemist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Wilson, NC, 27893. Details of the position are as follows:

- Pay: $25.00- 28.00/hr to start.
- 1 year contract with the possibility of extension or conversion based on budget and performance.
- Monday- Friday, standard day shift, onsite position.
- Position will mainly be responsible for routine GMP laboratory analytical testing of potent and non-potent pharmaceutical drug products and substances, including dissolution, assay/degradant, content uniformity, and identity testing.
- Responsibilities also include documenting and reporting analytical results, participating in laboratory investigations and root cause analysis, and troubleshooting basic instrumentation issues.
- Position will also be responsible for participating in the daily tier process and supporting laboratory quality and compliance activities.
- Bachelor degree is required.
- 2+ years industry experience is required.
- Experience with Empower is required.
- Strong experience analytical chemistry, specifically HPLC, FTIR, Dissolution, or NIR is required.
- Experience with LIMS/ Labware is required.
