Under direct supervision, perform specimen receipt, preparation and testing as specifled in IVB SOP and Protocols in compliance with GMP regulations as they apply to the conduct of nonclinical research.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform laboratory activities including but not limited to reagent preparation, laboratory maintenance I monitoringe and routine testing of client samples.
• Immunoassay methods o ELISA o IFA
• Hemagglutination

" May support core IVB activities such as clinical observations, animal husbandy Share responsibility for general housekeeping and maintaining appropriate inventory levels of departmental supplies.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Generat laboratory working conditions.
• Regularly wears protective clothing (cap, gloves, scrubs, lab coatF safety glasses).
• Works with biological samples with risk of exposure to, zoonotic disease and biohazards.
• The employee may work with sharp objects (i.e. needles, glass pipettes, pipet tips).
• The noise level in the work environment ranges from low to moderate depending upon the task being performed.
