IT Project Manager - Wilmington, DE (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 months

Seeking for an IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate multiple concurrent technology projects using both waterfall and Agile methodologies. This role involves full project lifecycle management - from planning through closeout - across enterprise infrastructure, application, and cybersecurity initiatives. You will handle approximately 5 projects ranging from large to small.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple IT projects simultaneously from initiation through closeout using waterfall methodology.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and roadmaps.
• Create and manage risk and issue trackers; identify, escalate, and mitigate project risks.
• Define project scope, deliverables, milestones, and resource requirements with stakeholders.
• Track budget, timeline, and resource allocation against baseline plans.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, application support, business, and vendor teams.
• Prepare and deliver status reports and presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Manage vendor and contractor deliverables where applicable.
• Document lessons learned and support continuous improvement of project management practices within the IT organization.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing multiple concurrent IT projects in a waterfall/structured methodology environment.
• Ability to build and maintain project plans, roadmaps, RAID/risk-and-issue logs, and status reporting artifacts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior/executive leadership.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working with cross-functional technical teams (infrastructure, security, applications).
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP certification (or equivalent).
• Experience managing mid-large sized IT projects, specifically in Finance (reporting, data management, Enterprise level projects, compliance, audits).
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira).
