Pay From: $18 per hour

MUST:
1 years of experience as a medical scribe, medical transcriptionist, or other related job in a medical office
Must have EMR experience;
Must understand medical terminology and conditions
Must possess basic knowledge of the physical exam process
Ability to accurately record details of the physician's encounter with the patient required
Ability to accurately and effectively perform documentation requirements in electronic patient documentation systems required
Must be patient-centered and able to multi-task

DUTIES:
The Medical Scribe will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Accompany clinician into patient exam areas for the purpose of accurately documenting the clinician's encounter with the patient as described by the clinician
Ensure complete and accurate capture of medical information as spoken/instructed verbatim by the clinician
Assist the clinician in navigating the electronic health record
List diagnoses and symptoms as well as follow-up instructions and prescriptions as mentioned by the clinician
Enter orders, including diagnostic testing and medications which are "pended and require clinician approval to activate
Document procedures performed and described by the clinician. Invoke the organization's approved scribe statement for each clinical note Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
