Job Description
Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer
Location: Cary, NC | Duration: 12 Months
Schedule: 1st shift, 8 AM–5 PM (flexible); 10% travel, local driving and possible factory visits.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of embedded software development experience.
BS in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Programming experience in C and MATLAB/Simulink.
Knowledge of embedded operating systems, hardware integration, and drivers.
Experience with CAN/J1939 communication protocols.
Experience with software requirements, Agile development, code reviews, unit testing, and functional testing.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, integrate, test, and troubleshoot embedded software for turf and compact utility tractors.
Analyze software requirements and maintain feature-level software architecture across vehicle models.
Implement features, resolve defects, conduct code reviews, and validate software on vehicle platforms.
Collaborate with developers, testers, and stakeholders to deliver reliable software.
