We are seeking a Java Developer with strong expertise in Java 10 and modern backend application development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native applications. Exposure to Hadoop ecosystem technologies is required to support data-intensive applications and integrations, though this is not a core Hadoop development role.

Roles & Responsibilities
" Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
" Develop scalable Microservices and REST APIs.
" Integrate applications with distributed data platforms and messaging systems.
" Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
" Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
" Optimize application performance and scalability.
" Work in Agile/Scrum development environments.
" Support data processing and integration workflows involving Hadoop-based platforms.

Required Technical Skills
" Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
" Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
" Knowledge of Kafka and event-driven architecture.
" Experience with OpenShift, Docker, or Kubernetes.
" Good understanding of relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server.
" Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools.
" Understanding of software design patterns and secure coding practices.
Hadoop Experience (Good to Have / Secondary Skill)
Candidate should possess working knowledge of:
" Hadoop ecosystem concepts (HDFS, YARN, Hive)
" Basic Hive query development and troubleshooting
" Understanding of data ingestion and batch processing workflows
" Experience working with Hadoop-based data platforms in support of application development
" Exposure to Spark is a plus
Note: Hadoop is a secondary skill. Candidates are not expected to perform deep Hadoop administration, cluster management, or advanced big-data engineering.
