The project is focused on expanding CNH's Guidance Application team to accelerate development of its next-generation guidance software platform, which provides customer-facing guidance functionality for agricultural equipment. The engineers will help design, develop, test, and deliver new features using modern C and Linux technologies within a clean architecture, Agile environment to increase software delivery velocity and support a growing product roadmap. Software Engineer – Guidance Application Development (Multiple Openings)
Overview
Our client, CNH, is expanding its Guidance Application team and is seeking multiple Software Engineers to support development of next-generation guidance and automation software. These engineers will help accelerate delivery of new features and functionality within a modern Agile software environment focused on customer-facing guidance applications.
Position Summary
The Software Engineer will contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of next-generation guidance software applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong C development experience within a Linux environment and be comfortable working in a collaborative Agile team responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain application-level software using C within a Linux environment.
• Design, implement, and test software features following modern clean architecture principles.
• Collaborate with software architects, systems engineers, UX teams, and fellow developers to deliver new functionality.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
• Create and execute test cases associated with feature development.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects.
• Utilize Git for version control and Jira for work tracking and collaboration.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience developing software in C (preferably C 14/C 17).
• Experience working in Linux-based development environments.
