Python+Data Engineer

Role: Python + Data Engineer
Location: New York, NY(Need Local Candidates)
Pay Rate: $80-$85 on W2Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves collaborating with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on Serverless initiatives and experience with AWS tools and services.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in various programming languages including Python
• Previous Client Experience is required
• Experience with API design and development
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Spark
• Experience with AWS Services and job orchestration (Step Functions/Airflow)
• Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 5 years

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with modern application architecture and design patterns
• Experience with troubleshooting complex issues across distributed systems
• Ability to teach others architecture and design patterns

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Implement software in unambiguous and uncomplicated domains
• Develop features to enhance the overall user experience
• Identify improvements and make enhancements to established deployment pipelines
• Effectively combine standards and practices to implement more complex software
• Communicate effectively and proactively with different stakeholders
