Job Summary:

Position Title: Maintenance Worker II
Location: Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice, Woodsbend YDC 41472
Duration: 1 year
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
Pay rate: $15.00-$18.00/hr
Department: DJJ
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Assist supervisors in coordinating the work of staff while maintaining and repairing plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Provides assistance to carpenters and electricians. Paints buildings and structures inside and out. Repairs grounds maintenance equipment and tools.
• Provides assistance to the other skilled trades personnel.
• Assist in repairing equipment, assist with upkept of building and grounds, and assist in preventative maintenance
• Operates, maintains and repairs equipment and tools. Maintains records. Attends meetings and trainings as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
