Position Title: RHIT Certified Coder
Location: Wichita, KS 67217
Duration: FTE
Work Schedule: TBD

• Review records to confirm diagnoses, procedures and charges
• Code under ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS and CPT guidelines
• Query physicians on incomplete or unclear documentation
• Work coding issues and denials from billing
• Help maintain the chargemaster and state reports

• High school diploma or equivalent
• RHIT credential

Preferred

• Associate's degree in Health Information Technology
• 3 years of coding experience
• Inpatient and behavioral health coding

Licenses and certifications

• Active RHIT (AHIMA)
