RN Visit Nurse (RN) – Admissions

As an RN Visit Nurse (RN), you will be called to care when you're needed most. As part of Interim HealthCare, you'll provide skilled nursing services to patients in their homes, helping promote comfort, independence, and quality of life.

We are seeking an experienced, encounter-based RN to assist with patient admissions in the surrounding areas, including Tuscarawas County.

As an RN Visit Nurse, You Will:

• Complete in-home admission assessments and initiate patient care services.

• Provide direct patient care according to the provider's prescribed plan of care and nursing scope of practice.

• Assess and document patient conditions, including vital signs, and report changes in patient status as needed.

• Administer medications, insulin, and IV fluids as ordered, documenting all services thoroughly.

• Inspect and care for wounds, change dressings, and assist with personal care needs as appropriate.

• Assess patients for potential complications, including infections, pressure injuries, and other changes in condition.

• Collaborate with providers, aides, and other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation for all visits.

To Qualify for an RN Visit Nurse Position, You Will Need:

• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Applied Science in Nursing (AAS) required.

• Licensure: Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state associated with the position.

• Current CPR/BLS certification.

• Reliable transportation to and from patient homes and assigned work locations.

• Previous home health experience preferred.

• Experience completing patient admissions and comprehensive assessments preferred.

• Practical tracheostomy and/or ventilator experience preferred, but not required.
