About Rebel Kitchen:
Known for our scratch-made, bold, and globally-inspired comfort food, we are bringing our passion for locally sourced ingredients and house-made signature sauces to Kailua! We have secured a fantastic turnkey restaurant space and are on a fast-paced six-week timeline to flip the space and open our doors.

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a driven, hands-on General Manager to get in on the ground floor. We need our GM on board by November 23rd to work side-by-side with the owners for an intensive, in-person training period during the physical setup phase to master our scratch-kitchen operations and brand culture. Once the doors open, the owners will hand over the reins completely, giving you full operational autonomy to run the restaurant and lead your team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rapid Launch Support: Partner directly with the owners starting November 23rd during the high-energy six-week flip window to assist with final setup, vendor onboarding, and pre-opening logistics.
• Hands-On Training: Participate in structured, in-person training with the founders to fully absorb operational standards, signature recipes, and financial metrics.
• Full Operational Autonomy: Confidently take the reins post-launch, managing all daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations independently.
• Staffing & Culture: Recruit, hire, and train a brand-new hospitality team from scratch, fostering a high-morale environment built on teamwork and aloha.
• Financial Leadership: Manage the location's P&L, optimize food and labor costs, control local inventory, and drive revenue.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of restaurant General Manager experience, preferably in high-volume casual dining or scratch-kitchen environments.
• A self-motivated leader who welcomes direct mentorship but is fully prepared to step up and run the entire show independently.
• Must be able to officially begin by the November 23rd start date and have open availability, including evenings and weekends, for the launch phase.
• Strong familiarity with the Oahu hospitality landscape and local hiring market.
• Current ServSafe Manager Certification and Honolulu County Liquor Commission Manager Card (or ability to obtain quickly).
