Warehouse Associate / Tool Room Attendant

Seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate / Tool Room Attendant to support warehouse inventory and service counter operations. Similar to a parts counter role, this hands-on position involves locating, preparing, and distributing requested tools, parts, and supplies to internal customers. Forklift operation is not required. Candidates who demonstrate strong performance and reliability may have the opportunity for permanent employment.

Responsibilities

• Pull and prepare requested items for pickup.
• Assist internal customers at the service counter.
• Read and follow work orders accurately.
• Verify incoming inventory and stock items in designated locations.
• Maintain inventory accuracy.
• Keep the storeroom clean, organized, and safe.
• Support daily warehouse operations.

Required Qualifications

• At least 6 months of recent, stable work history, with no employment gaps exceeding 3 months.
• Minimum 6 months of customer service experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
• Strong attendance, punctuality, and work ethic.
• Ability to learn product information and follow work instructions.
• Ability to pass the required government background check and drug screening.
• Commitment to the initial training schedule and permanent overnight schedule.
• Ability to follow the facility’s policy prohibiting personal cell phone use on the facility floor during working hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of warehouse operations experience.
• Previous warehouse, inventory, or stockroom experience.
• Experience handling parts, tools, or supplies.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
