Customer Sales Representative

Position Overview

Reports to the Customer Service Supervisor. Responsible for preparing conveyor quotes, managing order inquiries across all communication channels, and tracking sales through fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process quote requests received via email, phone, or fax, calculating accurate estimates using standard price lists and non-standard markups.
• Select appropriate equipment and material specifications within manufacturing capabilities, collaborating with Corporate Engineering to resolve design or sizing challenges.
• Estimate production timelines for custom equipment and follow up on outstanding quotes through final outcome.
• Enter, process, and track orders accurately from fabrication through shipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Proven customer service, communication, organization, and multi-tasking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Outlook), 10-key, and typing.
• Manufacturing or metal fabrication experience preferred.
• Familiarity with material handling components (power transmissions, motors, gearing, bearings) and blueprint reading is a strong plus.

Work Environment

• Desk-based role requiring extended periods on the phone and computer, with occasional team meetings.
