Job Description

Fairfield, Ohio | Second Shift Opportunities

Since 1968, G&W Products has been a leader in metal manufacturing and fabrication. With three facilities in Fairfield, Ohio, we specialize in laser cutting, stamping, forming, welding, and assembly for industries including construction, transportation, energy, and defense.

Schedule and Shift Premium

        Second shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 p.m.–2:00 a.m.

Second-shift employees receive an additional $5 per hour.

Position Overview

Looking for more than just a job? This can be your starting point for a career in manufacturing.

As a Manufacturing Associate, you'll get hands-on experience in different areas of our manufacturing operation. Rather than being limited to one department, you'll have the opportunity to support teams throughout the facility, including Laser Cutting, Press Brake, Stamping, and Assembly.

Your day-to-day work may include examining and sorting parts, grinding and finishing metal, assisting with laser cutting and press brake operations, assembling and preparing materials for the next step in production.

No manufacturing experience? That's okay. We're looking for dependable people who want to work hard, learn, and grow. You'll have the opportunity to learn from experienced operators, develop new skills, and potentially work your way into skilled manufacturing positions.

Whether you're looking to get your foot in the door or build a long-term career, we want to give you the opportunity to grow.

Physical Requirements

·         Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

·         Ability to work in environments with extended heat exposure

·         Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday

·         Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including steel-toe footwear

Qualifications

·         Positive attitude and eagerness to learn

·         Interest in learning new skills and growing within the company

·         Dependable attendance and punctuality

·         Commitment to working safely and following established processes

·         Strong work ethic and pride in doing quality work

·         Willingness to help teammates and work in different departments

·         Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required

·         Experience operating forklifts, cranes, or other material-handling equipment is a plus

What We Offer

·         Learn skilled trades: Hands-on experience in laser cutting, press brake, stamping, and assembly

·         Room to grow: Opportunities to advance into skilled manufacturing positions

·         Team-focused environment: Learn from experienced employees who want to see you succeed
